VISION thang

Visionthang was established by Mark Thomas in 2001 for the hosting of sites devoted to alternative medicines, healing, spiritualism and enviromentally sustainable businesses, and to host the artwork of his friends and colleagues.

Mark Thomas died on 28 October 2007 after being diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). He was aged 52.

Mark first worked with computers in the early eighties when he was the acting Traffic Manager at SBS-TV. He managed the station’s broadcast schedule using a computer that occupied an entire room and had its own air supply.

Mark first used a Personal Computer in 1986 while studying for his MBA. It had two 2 x 5¼ inch floppy disks.

Mark had broad experience in the management of projects ranging from feature films in the eighties to IT in the nineties. Recently he'd focused on Technical Writing and documentary filmmaking. He held an Honours Degree in Drama and an MBA.

Prior to his departure he was writing a book about life and death, based in part on his experiences at the Casa de Dom Inacio, a house of spiritual healing, in Brazil.
